Last chance to enter biscuit competition

Care homes have received their final call to enter the McVitie’s Tasties biscuit decorating competition, which closes on the 30th October.

The home that creates the best biscuit masterpiece will be rewarded with a special afternoon tea package worth up to £1,000.

The competition is being organised by pladis, the snacking company behind brands such as McVitie’s and Jacob’s, and the National Activities Providers Association (NAPA).

“Since launching the competition we’ve seen some wonderfully creative entries from care homes across the country,” says Scott Snell, president sales, UK & Ireland, at pladis. “We hope creating entries will bring a smile and provoke some happy memories among residents.

“The competition is simple to enter; homes just need to choose a theme, decorate their biscuit and share a photo with us along with a short message about why the theme was chosen.”
