Rational reveals new Care Home Live demonstrations

Rational is to hold live online equipment demonstrations specifically for care home chefs.

During Care Home Live, which will take place on various dates, a Rational chef will prepare a wide-ranging care home menu while an expert host will be on hand to answer any questions.

Attendees will be shown how the iCombi Pro combi steamer and iVario multifunctional cooking system can increase a care home’s productivity and reduce cooking times while producing consistent, high-quality results.

Adam Knights, marketing director at Rational UK, says: “We’ve seen a big increase in interest from care homes for both the iCombi Pro and the iVario cooking systems, so we decided to make a live online specifically for them. Nutritional meals are incredibly important for care home residents, and we have ensured that all the content is relevant to a care home’s operation.”

The demonstrations, which will last for around 45 minutes, are set to focus on breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Breakfast meals will include porridge, pancakes and a full traditional breakfast while lunch will include lentil soup, cottage pie, macaroni cheese, accompanying vegetables and a pudding.

Anyone who proceeds to buy a Rational cooking system after attending one of the events will receive free snack and bake starter kit accessories worth £274.
